Working relationships built on trust

Grocott Construction was established in 2013 by David and Linda Grocott, the owners of Whitchurch-based storage and distribution company, Grocontinental; and John Reeve, the former owner of a leading national construction company.

John had worked with the team at Grocontinental over the last 20 years to manage the design and build of over 600,000 sq ft of frozen, chilled and dry goods warehousing for the company. Together David, Linda and John saw the opportunity to launch Grocott Construction to support a wide range of construction projects, including cold storage and distribution, food manufacturing facilities, refurbishment, residential properties, along with leisure and regeneration projects.

The new team particularly saw the opportunity to work with businesses who needed a total and high-level construction management service, from design through to commissioning. This full-service and trusted approach has led to us securing repeat business from a large number of our clients.

Backed by 40 years’ construction experience

Backed by John’s 40 years’ experience and his unrivalled network of contacts in the construction industry, we have established a team of design professionals, specialist consultants and contractors.

We take full responsibility for all aspects of the projects we support, from design through to commissioning. This includes participation in the procurement of specialist equipment and fittings ensuring that the building is constructed to meet clients’ full requirements.

All our clients have a single point of contact who will manage control of costs, the project’s timing plan and communicate any changes that the project may require as work progresses. We actively encourage a client’s participation in all phases of the programme to ensure that the finished project meets their expectations and requirements.

Projects are supported by an in-house management team consisting of managers and engineers who ensure that quality and progress on-site is maintained to the highest standard.

The Grocott Construction support team also includes Health and Safety, and Human Resources professionals to ensure total interface with clients’ teams and their workforce and to provide complete peace-of-mind.

Total Project Management
